About the Artist |

Michael Reher,
Master Puppeteer earned a
Master of Arts Education,
Curriculum and Instruction
from San Diego
State University . He
has taught courses in
puppetry at
California
State College , Sonoma , and for numerous schools
and organizations throughout
California
. He recently provided puppetry training with more than 500 British
Airways personnel. He began
professionally performing in
1965 with his own television
program. and founded MEHNTOR
Productions in 1987. Michael
designs and creates all
puppets except for antique
puppets used in productions.
One of his many creations a
caricature of Albert
Einstein is on permanent
display at the Fermi
National Accelerator
Laboratory. Children across
the nation are enthralled as
Michael brings to life the
Drug Free Kids Puppets in
the acclaimed Magic Music
Production video "Don't Say
Yes, When You Really Mean
No". His original stories
are at home with every
MEHNTOR production. Previous
audiences too numerous to
mention include, schools,
universities, civic and
youth organizations,
corporations, government
agencies, resorts,
television, the California
Center for the Arts,
Escondido and the San Diego
Parent & Child Expo, Agua
Caliente Band of Cahuilla
Indians. Michael and MEHNTOR
Productions are based in
California and perform
regularly
throughout Southern
California.
